About BabaVoices

BabaVoices is a small, independent tool for people who would rather talk than type.

Speech recognition in the browser is already good. What's usually missing is a step that cleans up the way people actually talk, with the ums, restarts and run-on sentences, before the text goes anywhere. BabaVoices adds that step, and keeps the whole thing in a web page so there's nothing to install.

What it does

You open the page, press the mic and talk. Your browser turns your speech into text. One tap of Polish removes filler words, false starts and repeats, fixes punctuation and grammar, and copies the result so you can paste it anywhere. The Reader works the other way round: paste an article or a link and it reads it aloud, with an optional translation beside it.

How it's paid for

Dictation is free. The free plan shows a small ad after a result and includes a daily number of Polish cleanups. A paid plan removes the ads and the daily limit. We don't sell your data, and we never receive your audio. See the privacy policy for exactly what is sent where.
